Setup guide – Xlock / Stroxx

Background:
Because there are many components in motion, we've compiled a list outlining requirements, clarifications, and areas of responsibility to ensure the seamless integration between Inlet and the lock system.

Practical and Technical Requirements:

  1. Xlock / Stroxx is installed and fully commissioned in the usual manner by the installer.
  2. The lock needs to be connected to a gateway and be online and configured correctly accoring to manufacturer.
  3. To enable "remote opening" you need to connect ot the lock via bluetooth in the app and make sure the following settings are set:

  4. Once all the locks are active, online and set up correctly, click back to the Locks main screen.
  5. Click on "Groups" and create a new group of locks Inlet should control, mane it (your company name - location name) e.g. (Hotel Chain - Hotel 1)
  6. Click into that group, and add the locks Inlet should control by clicking the button in the lower right corner.
  7. Once all the locks has been added clikck the button in the lower right corner again and select "Add User".
  8. Add tech@inlet.tech.
  9. Choose “Developer access”
  10. Give unlimited time rights
  11. Confirm
  12. Inlet then needs to receive the following information by mail to support@inlet.tech:
    • Customer/location Name
    • Information on what you named the group of locks Inlet should set up.
  13. Inlet retrieves IDs from the locks to configure Inlet with the locking system.
  14. Inlet provides information to the main system/booking system for testing.
  15. Inlet requires a minimum of 2 weeks of testing with the main system/booking system after the installer has completed all the steps above.
