Setup guide – Unilock

Background:
Because there are many components in motion, we've compiled a list outlining requirements, clarifications, and areas of responsibility to ensure the seamless integration between Inlet and the lock system.

Practical and Technical Requirements:

1. The Unilock system is installed and fully commissioned in the usual manner by an installer.
   1. Remember to activate the Webserver and WebAPI (See this manual from Unilock).
2. Details regarding IP addresses and ports that need to be opened in windows and firewall can be found at the end of this document.
3. The server needs to be connected to a static IP or a URL.
4. IT supplier installs HTTPS certificates to enable proper HTTPS communication for the static IP or a URL in #3
5. IT supplier ensures IP whitelisting and sets up port forwarding from an external port to an internal port on the server, enabling access to the API. 
6. Installer logs into your server dashboard.
7. Click Settings -> Settings in the top right corner.
8. Then click "OpenID clients" on the right side:
9. Then click "Create client" and copy that Registration token and send it to support@inlet.tech:
   1. The registration token is only valid for a limited time.
10. Inlet needs receive the following to email support@inlet.tech:
    • Use secure sendig via PrivateBin or other secure mode of transport
    • Customer Name
    • Information on what locks and lock groups Inlet should set up.
    • The registration token from step 9.
    • Public URL or static IP address of the server.
11. After this you will receive a URL back from support, where you have to login to give us access to your system.
12. Once this is done, send a new email to support@inlet.tech and confirm you have granted us access, and we can continue our setup.
13. Inlet retrieves the IDs of the locks to configure Inlet with the locking system.
14. Inlet provides information to the top system/booking system that they can test.
15. Inlet requires at least 2 weeks of testing with the top system/booking system after the locks are all online and working.
    
    

    IP addresses that need to be whitelisted:
    Required: 52.164.185.179
    Required: 77.110.204.178

    Ports that need to be mapped:
    External TCP port 443 to internal TCP port 443 on the Server, or another external port if needed.

    Access System Server IP Address Configuration:
    A static IP address should be assigned to prevent it from being changed during a restart, and causing downtime due to the mapping in the previous point
