Practical and Technical Requirements:

  1. dormakaba exivo is installed and fully commissioned in the usual manner by the installer.
  2. The locksmith activates the API service for the customer in the exivo partner portal.
  3. The locksmith must send the 'Site ID' to Inlet.
  4. The locksmith needs to create new API Credentials:
  5. Inlet needs receive the following to email support@inlet.tech:
    • Customer Name
    • Information on what locks and lock groups Inlet should set up.
    • Site ID
    • API Key
    • API Secret Key
  6. Inlet retrieves IDs from the locks to configure Inlet with the locking system.
  7. Inlet provides information to the main system/booking system for testing.
  8. Inlet requires a minimum of 2 weeks of testing with the main system/booking system after the installer has completed steps 1-5.

Additional Information when needing to activate a heater:

  1. You need a 2 door controller to control both the door and the oven
  2. The Oven will be pulsed, and the relay will be open for only a few seconds.
  3. The relay pulse for the oven needs to trigger a countdown timer, this should include time before the booking begins and the entire booked period
  4. The timer that counts down is installed either in the oven itself, or as a timer in between the lock system and the oven
  5. We will pulse the door configured for the oven, x minutes before the booking begins. This is setup by Inlet
