Setup guide – Dormakaba dKey

Background:
Because there are many components in motion, we've compiled a list outlining requirements, clarifications, and areas of responsibility to ensure the seamless integration between Inlet and the lock system.

Practical and Technical Requirements:

  1. Dormakaba dkey is installed and fully commissioned in the usual manner by the installer.
  2. The locksmith ensures that the subscription service for the network unit in the dkey admin app is activated.
  3. Once all the locks are active and set up, Inlet must be notified.
  4. Inlet sends an approval link that the customer must click on.
  5. The customer clicks on the link and verifies themselves with dormakaba, thus choosing which locks Inlet should be able to control.
    • If no locks are found, go back to step 1.
  6. Notify Inlet when everything is ready, and the process can proceed.
  7. Inlet retrieves IDs from the locks to configure Inlet with the locking system.
  8. Inlet provides information to the main system/booking system for testing.
  9. Inlet requires a minimum of 2 weeks of testing with the main system/booking system after the installer has completed all the steps above.
